3,5 years old, the first day riding on her new stable!
Duration : 0:4:31
Video starting with dressage novice out at Keysoe, then lateral work at home, then a few x-country jumps.
Quality dressage mare, 15.1hh 10 yo, Anglo European Studbook – Warmblood.
This stunning little horse has exceptional Hanoverian and Oldenburg breeding with Drosselklang II bloodlines. She has 3 correct expressive balanced paces with a very active hind leg and a flashy medium trot, good conformation, she is fit and healthy and open to any vet. Competing at affiliated Novice and Elementary, working at Medium level. Qualified for Hickstead Dressage Masters national final 2011, summer regionals and now also winter regionals at Novice. Sold WITH THE RIDE! She produces lovely tests with very high marks, last five tests 67 – 69% where she won two and came second in three, one of them was Elementary 49; gets regular wins and always gets placed with positive comments from the judges. In unaff novice scores over 70%. Has 76 BD points, 6 of them are Elem. Lateral work – leg yielding, shoulder in, quarters in, half pass, superb medium trot, pirouettes in walk, counter canter and started flying changes, rein back. Has been schooled over showjumps and x-country jumps, goes over trotting poles, showjumping grids, water, ditches, banks, steps etc. Lunges well and responds to the voice commands. Hacks out alone or in company, has been on a 12 mile ride through EBA (Essex Bridleways Association). Current owner is a BHSAI registered instructor and been regular training with a list 1 BD judge.
She is a sensitive horse which is ideal for dressage and needs a competent rider. She would suit someone who loves riding and has time to give her regular exercises, for training working students or BYRDS, affiliated or unaffiliated dressage (from novice up) or can be a good alrounder. Would suit a teenager or a small adult rider. Always gives her 100% out at shows. She is forward going but always easy comes back to you, never out of control. Never rears, bolts or naps, can have an occasional spook where she looks at things, but nothing dangerous. Good to load to trailer or horsebox, farrier, vet, dentist, clip, turn out, easy to catch, muck out around her in the stable, lifts her feet up herself when you pick them out. She has good feet and has been going barefoot for the last 18 months so cheap to keep, although came to me with a full set of shoes. Teeth, back, saddle, jabs are all up to date. Microchipped. Very sad sale due to a lack of time and family commitments.
Stabled and can be seen in Essex, near Romford.
Price: £9000. Open to sensible offers.

Mustafara is a beautiful Dappled Grey Beauty! She is very typey, with a femine head, very well boned. She is breathtaking – tons of snort and blow! She is a great mover and moves with such finesse and action. She is broke to ride, very quiet under saddle. Saddled up on 10-11-09 after 1 year and she rode like a champ pregnant!
Bred to A-Temptation for 2010! Just imagine how beautiful her foal will be!!!

Jan 1992 15.2H White Grey Pure Polish Arabian Mare, IV Silver Shadow. arabian horse Registry 0517778 Offered for sale by Cross Timbers Arabians and Pintos http://CTarabians.com. Visit our website for more information.
Incredibly beautfiul white grey purebred Arabian mare. Very typey head, tipped ears, long elegant neck with a wonderful back and high tail carriage Video. under saddle were taken in Winter Dec 2010 after a period of not being ridden due to time off to have foals.
Very rare Polish bloodlines, her sire and dam were both imported from Sweden.
Her sire is a Swedish National Champion and a sire of World and National Champions.
Her dam’s sire was a Swedish National Champion.
All of Shadow’s decendents for over 5 generations are either a National or World Champion, and/or sired by a National Champion and/or have produced World/National champions!
She is a very correct big bodied mare with a lot of substance and charisma. She is very gentle and a great mother who gets in foal easily. I personally have used her to ride out on the lakeside trails. She prefers not to be in the lead and when following another horse will almost seem to be on auto pilot, crossing water, riding along the road, etc. I have taken her out of the pasture; tacked her up and hopped on and ridden the trails without another horse after years of not being ridden and she has done extremely well under saddle. I have an online video at my website showing her riding on a cold freezing windy winter day after a long layoff due to having foals and I just tacked her up and hopped on and went for a ride and she was awesome. She is an incredible fun ride for a confident rider who knows riding cues. She can transform into a high stepping high spirited horse when she is excited, performing advanced dressage moves or trotting out like a park horse that is so beautiful to watch, but does requries and experienced rider to harness the energy. Shadow is a spirited horse with a lot of size, so she would not be suitable for a first time horse owner; a small child, timid or beginning rider. She should be fine for a beginning rider if she is ridden in an arena under the care of a riding instructor.
She easily keeps up with much younger horses when riding out on the trails and does not require any special shots or supplements to keep her sound. She has great feet and I have never had to put shoes on her. No High heel / low heel syndrom, like so many other Arabian horses. I have had a lot of compliments on how big, beautiful and well behaved she is from even Quarter horse folks when I ride her out on the trail.
She has been primarily used as a Trail Horse, Dressage lesson horse and broodmare. We believe she is homozygous for the grey gene as all of her foals have been grey.
Her only Pinto Arabian filly was exported to Costa Rica to start the first Pinto Arabian breeding program in that country.
Because we are reducing our herd and cutting down on the number of purebred Arabians we are breeding, we are open to selling her to an approved home with long standing vet references, and who is able to afford to keep her with the good horse care and love she has become accustomed to. We are hoping someone who breeds Pure Polish Arabians can use her to continue her bloodlines on or someone that wants a beautiful big white Arabian riding mare to make as their special horse.
PLEASE READ- Shadow has developed grey horse melanoma, which you can read about on the internet if you GOOGLE for it. It is very common in older grey horses and more than 80% of grey horses will get it when they are over 10 years old. . IT is rarely malignent like a melanoma on a nongrey horse would be. It has not bothered her, but it can easily be seen when she lifts her tail. Even if it may meet your visual criteria now, there is no gurantee with time it will remain so in your eyes if you value looks highly. Because of this, we will be very cautious who we sell her to as we would like someone who has had grey arabian horses before and will give her a forever home.
Shadow won at halter, western and hunter pleasure when she was shown at local open shows in her youth. She could have been shown and done very well, but her lineage was more valuable in a breeding program.
Shadow easily gets in foal by AI or natural cover first cycle. She is an easy foaler and a great mother that produces foals taller than the sire. 2 of her purebred Arabian geldings are now over 16H!. Her last foal was weaned summer of 2010, so she is open this year. She can be sold bred to our black arabian stallion or our double homozygous b/w American Paint stallion.
We have lots of photos and videos of her at our website as well as photo and videos of her offspring.
SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! Small price consideration given to the perfect forever home.

Perhaps the Horse of the Year title is not a foregone conclusion. Zenyatta gave the crowd what they waited for — and the patrons responded by cheering, clapping, and waving — as she ran her unbeaten streak to 14 with a magnificent performance in the Breeders Cup Classic (gr. I) Nov. 7 at Santa Anita.
Zenyatta looked uncomfortable for the first 200 yards and was last the first time by the stands, but she was flying down the stretch the second time and rolled by Gio Ponti to win the $5-million race. She became the first filly or mare to win the Classic.
Most voters had Rachel Alexandra penciled in as Horse of the Year but Zenyattas victory over males has re-opened that argument.
