I’ve heard that it can cause odd coloring but Ive never seen any pictures or known it for a fact. I have a appaloosa POA mare that I want to breed with a paint stallion. Before I do, I want to see some pictures and know if it is a good or bad idea.

Look up Pintaloosa on google images and look at what comes up. I think all horses are absolutely stunning, especially ones with odd eye catching markings. :)
This site also has some information on them http://www.freewebs.com/tpallen/pintaloosa.htm and apparently they are actually becoming quite popular.

  1. I would say not such a great idea. I have seen some on dreamhorse.com that look like a box of crayons melted and threw up all over the horse. seriously very very very strange/ugly marking however I have also seen them throw solid foals. either way unless this horse is for your personal use only I wouldnt considering the down horse market. good luck
