How long should horses be kept off a field after weed killing?
admin on June 15th, 2010
We weed killed out fields two and half weeks ago! Any advice on how long our horses should be kept of it?
It will vary dependant on the weed killer used, you are going
to have to find out what was used and what instructions
regarding animals. There is no general rule on this so you
must be sure.

Hi, u should really find out out what type of week killer was used, it should have instructions with it. Also u should find out if the weeds are safe to eat once they’re dead.
Our land lord sprays the nettles and we can put out horses out the next day of it’s dry, also my horse chews the dead nettels and spits them out (anyone would think he’s starving) but there is no more chemicals left in the weed.
