I think the horse was a Freisian (sp?), and I think I saw the same horse in Eragon ridden by Jeremy Irons.
You can tell I love horses when I’d rather watch them than Matt Damon. To me my little bay Witez Arab is the epitome of all movie horses, my dream, my friend, my love.

not sure where you could find info about the 2 horses but after seeing this question today and being massively bored i watched both movies and I’m not sure that they are the one and the same horse. The one on Alexander seems a bit bigger boned to me, though I could be wrong. I’ll do some digging and see if I can’t find out:) and you’re right they are both fresians

  4. yes it is a Friesian… who knows about if it also played in Eragon, because Friesians are always black, it is hard to tell if one horse played in two different movies, course only the owner would know I am sure. Is your horse a descendent of Witraz by any chance?
