(Please no time-wasters! Don’t make this any harder than it already is.)
I am riding in all clips apart from the clip at 30 seconds of the puissance wall.
Everything you need to know:
- Dakoda (Kody)
- 9 year old Grey Irish sport horse mare for sale with Nijinsky and King of Diamonds blood lines. (Not mare-ish at all!)
- Very scopey honest mare with lots of potential. She has a huge jump which is very clean and tidy.
- Schools to 1.30m/1.40m at home on a regular basis.
- Has loose jumped over 5 feet with ease.
- She is a mare with great conformation and clean sound legs.
- She hacks alone or company and is not spooky. She hacks in the heavy traffic or alone in the woods.
- She rides very well on the flat, very easy to get into an outline, with established flying changes. She is well balanced in all paces. She is very light in the hand.
- She has show jumped double clear up too 1m so far but has the potential to go so much further.
- I have taken her XC once since I have had her, (I will definitely get her out again once the weather improves) and she jumped everything, walls, ditches, coffins, hedges and water etc. you name it. Her owner has taken her XC many times and she is both fast and confident.
- She is a mare who has given me so much confidence with my jumping; she is very honest, brave and really tries her heart out.
- Kody really loves to jump and has helped me out of some very tricky situations. When I put her in a bad spot, she jumped it anyway!
- Kody could easily excel in show jumping, dressage or eventing, but I feel just doing dressage would be a waste of her jumping talent.
- Kody is not a novice ride.
- She is good to clip, just a little bit fussy round her ears as most horses are; she always stands very quite for the blacksmith and the vet and is good to load. She lives in or out and gets on well with other horses. She is not a fussy eater and is well behaved in the stable. She is very sweet and loving, and loves cuddles and carrots. She has no vices.
- Kody is only available for sale as her owner is working aboard for the next few years and cannot keep her.
- She has had the same owner since she was 4 years old so has not been spoilt, and only came to me in August when her owner moved aboard and asked me to ride her. She has been such a pleasure to ride and work with and I will be very sad to see this mare go.

Why did her owner suddenly decide to sell her? Anyway, the time you had with Kody was obviously amazing, and I hope you find a great home for her

I got myself a 4yo mare a few months back, it has been the most hardest few months but has been the most rewarding aswell. Definitely worth all the tears, and something worth doing

Would be ideal for you too as we live in Drogheda not too far from you so you could visit whenever you like !! BUt shes on holiday atm

yeh ! I would think so , her pony at the moment is mad ! Very few people can ride him , hes in a Pelham ! But she loves his love to jump ! And Kody is like him in a horse version ! Exactly what he wants
