This horses name is, “CowHouse Genuine Ich”. (Barn name is Ichy)
And he’s a registered 2006 AQHA stallion.
His sire: Cat Ichy, one of the hottest sires in the nation by Highbrow Cat.
His Dam: Genuine Flower, by Genuine Doc (the sire of Shining Spark).
Ichy was originally trained by “Hall of Fame” trainer, Ken Wold to
compete at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity.
At that futurity, Ichy started out with a bang.
In the first go-round, he placed 6th out of approximately 300 entries.
An outstanding showing in the herd work.
In the second go-round, he made a mistake and bobbled a lead
change in the reined work.
That mistake took him out of the running for the finals.
After the Snaffle Bit Futurity, Ken told Ichy’s owner to bring the horse
to me to train… to switch him over to a straight cutting horse.
The instant I saw Ichy, I liked him. A strong, good-looking horse.
The owner told me to get Ichy ready to show as a cutting horse
as soon as possible.
The horse was loaded with cow, a good athlete and easy to train
so making the transition to cutting was a piece of cake.

I have the facility, been ridding my whole life, but I’m not a cutter. If had the mula I’d go for it. I have a mare I would love to bred him to. If you fine he has to retire for good let me know. I want to get a horse I can trail ride and do the not so extreme cowboy challenge stuff with. My hunter is not an option.

OMG, Larry. You weren’t kidding when you said this guy is GORGEOUS! Plus, he’s calm, willing, & has lots of potential. I’d buy him in a heartbeat if I still competed & could keep a stallion. But someone with the right setup will snap him up in a jiffy!!!!
