If you cant why not?
The breed shouldn’t matter….judge the horse as an individual. There are horses in almost every breed that can be successful in cutting. Arabians are very versatile, and can be seen doing anything from dressage to driving to endurance to team penning and everything in between. My own Arabian is trained western pleasure and I have enjoyed great success in the show ring on him.

Yes you can! I have a straight egyptian gelding by Simeon Shai. I’ve done a lot of cow work with him and worked with a guy who just trains horses for others (some of the biggest names) but doesn’t compete himself told me my horse would have been a world class cutter had he started it younger in life…. he was 12 when this guy met him.
…. and that was after two careers in endurance and 3-day eventing!

Sure! Almost any breed can do almost anything as long as it’s properly trained. I’ve even seen a mule do dressage!

Yes you can. They are very sure footed and have a lot of stamina. They are quick and high spirited. All this is a good factor. If you research back you will find that the Arabian is the base stock of most of your fine quality horses somewhere down the line.

Yes!!! Arabians are wonderful horses that can do practically every sport. I actually would think they’d be better at cutting because they’ll have alot more stamina than your average QH (and they’re alot smarter than them too). There are lots of arabians who do cutting, and are very good at it. Go ahead and have fun cutting with your arabian!!

Of course you can! most people prefer quarter horses, but the arabian is a diverse breed and is becoming more and more accepted in the western ring. They now have quarter/arab, arrappaloosas(appaloosas/arabs), and paint/arabs, to give them more hip to dig into the dirt, but the pretty little faces

Yes absolutly, some of the most famous cutting horses are Arabians, there fast, and they can turn on a dime, there quite good at it to…if you watch cutting on TV, look at the ones who are in the top 20 and i bet you almost half of them are Arabians or quarter horses….don’t let anyone tell you any different, Arabians are the ideal horse for cutting..small pettie body, lets them fly after the calf, and there powerful legs let them ride off of there back end to make the sharp persise cuts needed in the ring…
hope i helped you out…
