We had no idea she was carrying twins .. was never determined to be the case by the vets. Nature took it’s course well, and it was a clear, clean delivery.

It’s certainly not easy for a mare to nurse 2 foals, but Angells Essence got LOTS of extra calories, and supplements to make it all easier on her. We have another mare that LOVES foals, and even when she has her own foal at her side, she will allow 1 or 2 OTHER foals to nurse from her … she must think she’s the community milk machine!!

Actually, they will only be 2 in March of ‘09 (not 3). They ARE a bargain, but ONLY to an approved individual. I am screening potential buyers EXTREMELY careful, which is why a sale has not panned out as of yet. Let me know if you might be that potential buyer!! I’d love to keep the two together, but most buyers are looking for one horse at a time; not two. : )
